Our approach to care

The Sarah Cannon Cancer Network brings together innovative medical minds and unparalleled resources to advance cancer therapies and deliver personalized care.

Transforming the standards of cancer care

Through our network across the United States and United Kingdom, Sarah Cannon reaches more than 100,000 newly patients diagnosed with cancer each year, giving our team comprehensive insights on cancer care delivery.

No two cancers are identical. The genetic characteristics of a cancer vary from one patient to the next. Sarah Cannon believes personalized medicine – tailoring treatment to the individual patient’s cancer – is critical for drug development and offering the right treatment, to the right patient, at the right time.

Sarah Cannon's physician experts are at the forefront of clinical research and transforming the standard of cancer care, providing patients with access to the latest treatments through one of the largest community-based clinical trial programs. Sarah Cannon’s Personalized Medicine Program brings together experts in cancer research and personalized medicine, and the latest technology to help physicians determine the best treatments for their patients.

Transplant and cellular therapy network

The Sarah Cannon Transplant & Cellular Therapy Network is the largest cellular therapy network performing HCT and IECT and treats 1,600 transplant and cellular therapy patients annually across its nine FACT/JACIE accredited programs located throughout the United States and United Kingdom.

The Network delivers cutting-edge treatments and therapies to patients in communities close to home and cares for tens of thousands of patients each year, more than any academic medical center. Each Sarah Cannon Transplant & Cellular Therapy Network program features a specialized team committed to the care of complex blood cancers and other disorders and includes expert physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, registered dieticians, physical/occupational therapists, social workers, financial coordinators, nurse navigators and HCT coordinators ensuring care for the whole patient throughout the care journey. The network’s integration of research, quality, training and technology ensures patients access to the highest standards of care.
